A native to Las Vegas, Matt Hennessy has seen the Las Vegas skyline take shape similar to many larger metropolitan cities. Matt literally spent a great portion of his life on the Las Vegas strip. An alumni at the University of Nevada Las Vegas, Matt double majored in Business Finance and Accounting. Matt previously worked for the MGM-Mirage Corporation for nine years as an Entertainment Manager. At the same time he decided to put his financial background to work and entered the Mortgage Banking arena. After a few years of working both jobs, Matt realized his true calling was assisting clients in obtaining the American Dream of homeownership.

Since the mortgage-banking sector has been in constant change over the past decade, it should come to no surprise that Matt had seen many mergers, acquisitions and bankruptcies as a senior loan consultant for various mortgage banks. He has held positions at Sterling Capital Mtg., RBC Mtg. (Royal Bank of Canada), Home123 Corporation, and National City Mtg. Matt is a member of the Mortgage Bankers Association as well as the National Association of Mortgage Bankers. Matt has been a preferred lender for several high-rise and mid-rise condominium projects here in Las Vegas. With Panorama Towers, Metropolis Lofts and Flats, Sullivan Square, Luxe Lofts and The Mercer to name a few.

Due to the mortgage market meltdown of 2007 and in an effort to protect his clients, developers, and referral partners – Matt decided to accept a position with the world’s largest bank. As the Western Division Manager of Citigroup’s National Builder Division, Matt oversees the day-to-day operations of Citi’s National Builder Branches on the west coast. With favorite vacation destinations like New York and San Francisco, Matt is excited to be a part of the vertical revitalization of the Las Vegas community.
